Boad of Director Weekly updates May 12th-18th: Board meeting updates, Dandelions and architectural improvements, and more ways to communicate with your Board of Directors

The Villages of Springhurst HOA would like to thank those residents that came out on May 7th to meet with the board. For those that were unable to attend, discussion revolved around the dandelion epidemic and the plan that is in place with Lawn Groomers going forward. Lawn Groomers was on-site May 8th and sprayed the community with post-emergent and we should start seeing the dandelions withering up in the next couple of days. We discussed architectural improvements and frustration with the amount of time it can take for approval. While we were not able to resolve this issue on the spot, it is something the board has begun internal discussions about.

The Board of Directors has voted to open the first 30 minutes of every meeting for homeowners to come and engage the board with any questions or comments you may have. The floor will be open from 6-6:30pm. Please note, the meeting itself will not be an open session. If you would like to speak with the board, we ask that you inform Jessica at CMA so she can provide you with a time slot to be considerate of everyone’s time. The board meets every other month. The meeting schedule will be posted on the website.

During months where there is not an official board meeting, the Board of Directors has also elected to hold meetings directly with homeowners when requested. The board will select a date and time that works with schedules and these will be posted to the website as well. If you would like to meet directly with the board, we ask that you send notice to info@villagesatspringhursthoa.com. Please include your name and preferred method of contact so we can get in touch with you.
