Quail Ridge Park

Quail Ridge Park is 250 acres of rolling pastures, wooded hillsides, and rich bottom land near Peruque Creek. There are more than 7 miles of natural surface and paved trails that wind throughout Quail Ridge Park.

Broemmelsiek Park

Broemmelsiek Park is 494 acres of natural beauty, equipped several large lakes for fishing and more than 7 miles of multi use trails for hiking, biking, and equestrian use! It also features a 4.7-acre off-leash dog area with a large pond for dogs to splash around and play. This popular dog park was voted “Best Dog Park” in the region and it’s the place for the annual Paws in the Park celebration!

It also features a unique Astronomy Viewing Area, which is the 1st of its kind in St. Charles County. Every Friday night, weather permitting, the skies come alive as members of the Astronomical Society of Eastern Missouri (ASEM) offer public viewings, beginning at dusk.

O Day Park (Coming 2019)
Located off HWY DD and HWY 40
O’Fallon’s newest gem of City park-in-the-making is nestled in the countryside just off Highway DD.  

When it is done in early 2019, the 57-acre park will offer miles of paved and natural paths. Take the kids on a hike through the Long Meadow to find the Hidden Prairie. Look for brightly-hued dragonflies zigzagging through the Wet Meadow. Bring binoculars for a closer look at birds nesting in the spring or migrating through in the fall. Set up camp and toast marshmallows in the fire pit.

Hawk Ridge Park/Zachary’s Playground

This park contains several different play-sets, a splash pad open from Memorial weekend to Labor Day, and soft turf for kids to play! The all-inclusive playground is a great place for children of all abilities and ages! The pavilion has a charcoal barbecue pit, 8 picnic tables, and electrical outlets. It is near the playground, spray pad, and heated restrooms. Hawk Ridge Park (Zachary’s Playground) is always open to the public during regular hours (sun up to sun down) and the pavilion at Hawk Ridge is available for rent on a daily basis. The Pavilion at Hawk Ridge is a great place for children’s birthday parties or family gatherings!

Youth Activity Park

he 25-acre Youth Activity Park (YAP) is taking “extreme” sports to the next level with its state-of-the-art 33,000-square foot skate course! This course is equipped with nighttime lighting and has beginner, intermediate and advanced bowls, street course, and snake run scattered with ramps, gaps, hubbas and much more!

The course is open year around to users of all ages, skateboards, inline skates, scooters, and BMX bikes can ride throughout the concrete facility that offers challenges for every skill level. Helmets are required for all extreme sports enthusiasts using the skate course. Designed to provide a safe place for area youth to enjoy an assortment of alternative recreational opportunities, it’s also the largest outdoor skatepark in the state of Missouri.

City Hall Park
2032 Hanley Road
Our community park, located behind City Hall at 2032 Hanley Road, opened in September of 2011 and is a popular spot for families of Dardenne Prairie and surrounding areas.

  • Beautiful bandstand pavilion
  • Amphitheater – provides relaxed seating for the many events that take place at the park.
  • “The Spray Ground Play Ground” – is sure to be a popular place on a hot summer’s day.
